While in the hospital Cohen had to spend all of his time in the NICU. When he was born one of his lungs didn't expand like it was supposed to so he was having trouble breathing. They gave him some hormones to help him out and they worked, but he had to be monitored for the rest of his stay. Now he's home and doing beautifully, and he does have very, very strong lungs now.
I must say that for me the second baby was such an easier delivery in fact the doctor was making jokes while I was pushing and I kept on losing my breath and laughing (this is why I get epidurals) . I pushed for about 5 minutes and he was here, all 7 lbs 11 oz and 19 1/2 inches of him.
He is so cute and looks just like Cahlan's grandpa. We love him, although Emmy is taking a little longer to get used to him. Hopefully she gets adjusted soon.

Yea for drugs!

My cute sister Kelly saying bye-bye to the belly.

Proud parents.

Our little old man.

This is where Emmy wanted to see the baby.....
